This is a very nice Wikipedia app that works well on the iPhone and iPad. I have been a long-time user of articles but it has not been updated since 2013. I like the feature that finds nearby areas of interest. I do prefer the blue contrasting text color in the web-based Wikipedia site over the red color that is used in this application. I wish we had a choice of changing the contrasting color.

This is a very nicely thought-out Wikipedia app. Excellent typography, clean UI, and the map feature is very clever. For 99 cents, its completely worth a download.

This is a well written app, especially since it is new. It doesnt really offer much that other Wikipedia applications and even the well-written web application offer except for finding interesting Wikipedia articles in your location. I dont like that the contrasting color is red instead of blue, please offer an option to change the contrasting color.

Downloaded while in Oslo Norway and immediately learned about 4 important sites within a 300 yard radius of where Im staying. It was info I would never had learned before. Well worth a spot on my home screen.

I have long used Articles, but it has been abandoned for quite some time. This is the perfect replacement!

This app is the cleanest way Ive seen to make Wikipedia both effective and personal. Walking around town has become a treasure hunt!

Okay, so I completely understand that this app is about the gorgeous typography. So far, Im loving it! The layout is beautiful, but one thing is constantly annoying me: the text. Please, allow us to change the font, and the font size. I prefer a simple, minimalistic font when reading, and the font size is a slightly obnoxiously large. For a Wikipedia app that revolves around its typography, there needs to be some customization in there for different pairs of eyes. Besides that fact, this app is a much buy. Im holding off on using it as much as I should be for a while, but when the customization options come out, Ill recommend this to everyone I know. Thanks for making a great app!

First off, not a fan of the "rate 5 stars now" prompt. Ill decide my rating, thank you very much. I almost didnt write a review thinking it would automatically submit 5 stars for me. A very good app. Looks are fantastic, but Id appreciate some custom options, especially font size, and maybe a sans serif choice. Folders (or even better, TAGS) for bookmarks would be nice.

I love the layout of this app; its quick, easy, organized and visually appealing! I use Viki constantly; all through the day and late into the night as well.

This app demonstrates both the creativity and competence on the part of its developers to build a Wikipedia app that shows much promise for ease of use and readability. +++ The developers have created a new and promising Wiki app while other Wiki apps grow stale or fail to function after iOS upgrades and Wikipedia fails to build anything better than a crude app. +++ Font Size is set by iOS: Settings> General > Accessibilty > Larger Text. ---- Bookmarking: Setting a bookmark for a searched page works, however, there seems to be a way to set a bookmark for a page selected from the original searched page. Doing so frequently makes the app either freeze or crash altogether. --- The Wikipedia Main Page English does not display properly. It was very difficult to get to navigate to the main page. During many attempts to navigate and bookmark it, the app either froze or crashed. Then, you cannot read it due to formatting errors. -- Help is available from the developerss Twitter account, but this doesnt help users who do not wish to open such an account. + Additional information is available on the developerss web site.

Finally a replacement for the legendary Articles app! Love everything about this—hope the dev support continues. Beautiful.

Im loving the app so far, seeing local locations is fun especially during travel. In the future, I hope to see syncing between devices of bookmarks and favorites, and custom font and brightness implementations. Thats the only thing I could see to make this 5 stars. Way to go!!

Please add Bookmark sync between devices, font, text size and much more. Overall its nice

Useless if you don’t want to or can’t use WiFi or a cellular network. Think iPod touch.

Is app is amazing. The look, minimal features, and clever mapping are really neat. The only feature missing is sync for bookmarks between iPhone and iPad.
